A wedding draped in sunshine and full of all the warmth of summers colours.
Charlotte and I worked so closely throughout the planning process and in the end she handed me all her trust and let me play freely with all our many ideas, plans and colour pallets. The light and sweetness that shone from Charlotte and Doug required the brightness and joy of big flowers and wild fairytale foliage.
The deep reds matched her shoes and the touches of blue matched the wedding party. The buttonholes and the comb that sat in Charlotte’s hair were made with delicate dry flowers chosen by Doug.
The pergola’s arch was inspired by an old overgrown church door, wild and winding, bringing some of the traditional to an otherwise more modern and whimsical flowerscape.
This was a truly beautiful wedding that sang with love. The venue nestled deep in Richmond Park, looking out across the city made for the perfect platform for that song.
